One&Only Le Saint Géran, the idyllic and legendary resort on the north-eastern coast of Mauritius, enjoys exclusivity on a private peninsula, with a stunning beachfront and calm lagoon. Reopened in December 2017 after extensive renovations, it has retained everything guests already loved but is even better.
Situated on the beautiful Belle Mare coastline, One&Only Le Saint Géran is surrounded by some of the best scenery on the island: the Indian Ocean, a tranquil lagoon and sugarcane-covered mountains. It’s the perfect tropical playground for romantics, families and adventurers alike.
You’d be forgiven for wanting to spend all your time by the beach. Head down to the Boathouse and take out a kayak, paddleboard, a windsurf, or a Hobie Cat. Or go snorkelling or take a guided dive to discover the rich marine life underwater. The resort also features three swimming pools to ensure that families, couples and spa visitors have dedicated spaces to have fun and relax.
Club One offers a host of activities including a state-of-the-art fitness centre and exercise classes including Zumba and yoga. For sports enthusiasts, there’s volleyball, mini-golf, tennis courts and the only Henri Leconte padel court in Mauritius. If all that isn’t enough, there are guided mountain biking tours, table tennis, giant outdoor Jenga and more.
Families will love One&Only Le Saint Geran, and for children, there’s KidsOnly that provides activities for 3 to 11 year-olds, while One Tribe offers 11 to 17 years-olds an exciting chill-out space at Club One for movie nights, karaoke, virtual gaming and barbecues.
When you need a total wind-down, treat yourself to a Mauritian-inspired treatment at One&Only Spa, unwind with a cool drink on the terrace at the Le Carré Lounge, or chill out in your room. Guest rooms and suites all feature outdoor space, and suites come with butler service.
One&Only Le Saint Géran has an excellent reputation for gourmet dining. Meat eaters can’t go wrong at Prime, while La Terrasse serves food fresh from the tandoor and pizza ovens. For local flavour, La Pointe offers seafood with authentic Mauritian flavours, but if Japanese is more to your taste, book into Tapasake.
