As the newest and final addition to the Madinat Jumeirah family, Al Naseem is a superstar. Gone are the tired old days of the “Arabian Nights”, a style found predominantly in several properties next door and beyond in the region in general. In a town that expands and develops fast and furiously, Al Naseem will welcome you in true, modern-day Dubai style – it’s elegant, fresh, light and airy, inside and out.
White and cream decor, blue carpets, floors of white marble and bleached wood, white orchids, shining glass and gold-tone fixtures all work beautifully here to reflect the hues of the environment – namely the sun, sand and water. And combined with modern-day dining concepts graciously serving superb food, gorgeous coffee and a very nice selection of stronger stuff, including delicious cocktails and nibbles, it’s likely you’ll check in and never want to leave.
Families and couples alike will find happiness here. The facilities are state-of-the-art, and the entry-level rooms are large. Like many of the configurations at Madinat Jumeirah, they come in pods of two which can be sectioned off if you need to, a great solution as then all rooms are adequately soundproofed. Rooms are open plan with a huge bathroom which incorporates a spacious dressing area within. All of the rooms face the water, have balconies, with the higher floors boasting a better view. It’s worth upgrading to the Ocean Terrace level, suites in fact, as you’ll get the Lounge benefits included as well as access to the pretty fab Summersalt Beach Club.
Because there are so many great F&B outlets, bars, outside spaces, pools and the beachfront, guests staying in all the 428 rooms (43 are suites) have places to go, even if they don’t choose to explore the neighbouring hotels and their facilities or the Madinat Souk (which has seen better days).
This hotel, like the others in Madinat Jumeirah, has access to the superb Talise Spa and the massive health and lifestyle club, plus tennis courts. There are five swimming pools here, one that’s adult-only with a tiki bar alongside. A clever design, the kids’ club is located very near the adult zone, so parents can enjoy themselves knowing their kids are safe and having fun just steps away. There’s a lot here for kids of all ages, and besides the usual attractions, there’s a marvellous turtle rehabilitation lagoon.
