AUSTRIAN AIRLINES BUSINESS CLASS

Business Class  B767-300ER
Vienna / New Delhi   January 2016

Austrian Airlines’ business class is an excellent product. The departure lounge, the lie-flat seat and the entertainment system all are very good. But what really sets this carrier apart from its European rivals are its exceptionally good flight attendant service levels and their high-quality food and beverage product that’s one of the best in the industry.

The food is fresh-tasting, varied and presented by the flight’s on board cook who’s dressed in traditional chef’s whites, including the requisite toque. Austrian does a truly great job of conveying a feel of the nation. The service is refined and precise but also warm and friendly. From the colourful and comfortable duvets and pillows to the exceptionally wide range of coffees, one instantly feels a true, national culture. The cabin design is crisp and attractive and well-maintained. While the seats lack a bit of privacy, they’re comfortable and provide a good lie-flat bed and an exceptionally large side table space for drinks and work papers. The entertainment system is excellent quality with a large high-resolution screen, an intuitive and easy-to-navigate configuration and a very good variety of video and audio programming.

All in all, Austrian’s business class is a world-class product and easily one of the best provided by a European carrier.
